Who Are We?

TRPA is a non-profit professional society of approximately 1200+ individual and agency members organized in 1952 as The Leader in supporting highly effective professionals to achieve healthy, livable communities.  TRPA exists to strengthen and unite those committed to the benefits of parks and recreation.

Center Directors, Managers and Programmers working with diverse cultures/populations;

Recreation and Parks (Municipal, County and State) Citizen Advisory Board Members, Directors and Administrators, Community Program Planners, Programmers, Athletic and Maintenance employees;

Event Organizers, Performing and Visual Arts Coordinators, Arts Managers, Arts Council Directors, Arts Instructors;

Aquatic Directors, Pool Managers, Swimming Instructors, Programmers;

Therapeutic Programmers, Clinicians, Activity Directors, Special Populations Coordinators, ADA Coordinators;

Environmentalists, Resource Managers, Naturalists, Park Rangers, Biologists, Wildlife  Officers;
